This week in ISM I have my original work speech. I am very excited to give my speech but that does not mean I don't have a little bit of nerves. I have been practicing my speech, trying to eliminate stutters, and the use of filler words like "uhhh" and "like" which I feel has been a great thing to do. Already I can tell that my speech is much clearer and easier to follow. I am also excited to showcase my original work with the class, as I am proud of the work I did and I think it could prove to be very useful to the right audience.

Also this week I was lucky enough to receive confirmation from my now mentor. My mentor is Kyle Ahrendsen, Director of Sports Marketing at Frito Lay, which is very exciting. I am excited for this opportunity, not only because of Mr.Ahrendsen's deep understanding and experience of the field, but also the resources and reach that Frito Lay has access to. I am most interested to see the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making Super Bowl commercials and things of that nature especially with a company as big as Frito Lay.
